Basically I wanted to see how much it would hurt so I tipped it all on my hand surprisingly it didn’t hurt for like 5 mins then it started burning pretty bad

If it has a kind of powdery feel to it, it’s just the acid neutralizing and peeling your dead skin off. If it’s actually just your skin that has turned white congratulations, you have given yourself a chemical burn.

    3. Peel it yet? I just did this for some thick callused skin on my finger and it was both satisfying and horrifying peeling it off a day or two after. I’m not so sure it’ll be anywhere near as fun with the much less thick skin on the back of your hand

    4. Salicylic acid kills the cells, it’s white because the blood vessels in that layer are dead.

It’s going to go red and then peel off in layers until new fresh skin grows back in.

Source: removed wart with the same liquid too aggressively and lost a chunk of my finger.
